Garden Consulting/Coaching

Do you have an area in your yard needing change? Not sure where to start, or what to do next? Perhaps you are not yet ready to go forward with our Garden Design service. Our 2-step Garden Consulting/Coaching service—giving you a solid baseline of your existing garden—can be a great starting place and will keep it simple—yet customized—for you.

It begins with scheduling a site visit. We will openly discuss observations and ideas while we also gather your comments and feedback. Your ideas will blend into our ideas, and our ideas will blend into yours. Our goal—and our deliverable in the end—is to return to you a CONSULTATION REPORT (may also be referred to as PLANT HEALTH CARE PLAN) with baseline analysis and recommendations that will work for you!

After that, next steps are up to you. With our CONSULTATION REPORT in-hand, you may be visualizing better care for your existing garden, or maybe you’ll take our inputs and couple them with your own new ideas on what to do next. The future of your own pretty garden is in your hands.

If you have our CONSULTATION REPORT in-hand, your next step may be to request the creation of a GARDEN DESIGN PLAN.

  • We will use the completed REPORT as a starting point, gather additional necessary site details, then develop what we call a “bubble plan” (high-level concept sketch) which we will review with you before proceeding. (Our Phases 2 & 3)

  • After that, we return to our design studio to complete a “super-B” size (13”x19” typically drawn at 1/4”:1’ scale) GARDEN DESIGN PLAN and a PLANT LIST (our two final deliverables) which are ready for your implementation. (Our Phases 4 & 5)

Please note: While we do not offer garden installation services, we can recommend quality local contractors suitable for completing installation, AND we offer a set of Post-Design Consulting Services as described on THIS page.
