SOW Pretty Gardens 5-phase design process
We’ll start with a site walk-thru; gathering information, sharing our observations, and listening to your ideas and feedback (our Phase 1).
Back in the design studio, we’ll blend those inputs and ideas with the art and science of professional garden design—purpose, texture, seasonality, grading, colors, layering, size, symmetry, focal points, structure—to develop a conceptual “bubble plan.” We’ll use the “bubble plan” to share the big picture perspectives and considerations with you before moving forward (Client Review & Feedback; Phase 3).
Then, we return to the studio (Phase 4) to add details onto a full “super-B” size print (13”x19” typically drawn at 1/4”:1’ scale) which—along with a detailed PLANT LIST—tells the story of your GARDEN DESIGN PLAN. In Phase 5 we delight you with the results!
