Additional Post-Design Consulting Services

…of particular interest to our Garden Design Plan clients

While we do not offer garden installation services, we can recommend quality local contractors suitable for completing installation.

Whether you DIY or contract garden bed installation, some of our clients may find these procurement/sourcing and installation oversight services beneficial.

Services: select one or more, as needed, to support successful installation of your Garden Design Plan

  • Pre-bid meeting -- we will sit-in with you and represent your design interests if you wish to interview several installation contractors

  • Pre-installation meeting -- after contractor selection is made, we will meet in advance with head contractor to highlight and discuss key elements of your garden design

  • Tagging plant material in the nursery -- many nurseries will allow us to personally select the very best plant material for your order

  • Tagging/purchase/delivery of plant material -- particularly for DIY'ers, we will select the best material and procure for you at wholesale (extra delivery charges may be involved for large orders or large items)

  • Plant material layout in the field -- when you are ready for DIY installation, we will make sure everything is in position according to plan and will coach you through the process

  • On-site coordination with installation contractor -- we will make sure the plan is followed, or suitable accommodations are made if/when "surprises" pop-up

The details of these services--beyond the brief descriptions above--will be more clearly identified, customized and agreed upon in advance for your unique situation.

Post-design consulting services are offered at an hourly rate, with minimum quarter-hour increments.

Time estimates will be proposed in advance with "not-to-exceed" values, then invoiced only on actual time expended; no changes without prior agreement.
